I am considering upgrading from my Yamaha HTR 5890 to a RX Z9. I currently have RTI 10's for front and sides, csi 6 center, psw 505 sub,and rti 6's for backs.Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Z9? Would appreciate your thoughts.

It's a powerhouse. It's heavy and manly looking. Now sticking with Yamaha and coming from the HTR line, you will hear a big increase in sound quality. Clarity and dynamic range is greatly different on the Z.

With your speaker package this would be a considerable upgrade for you not to mention the other benefits that come along with the Z.

    Good luck with her,
