AB805-how is audio allocated to drivers

I couldn't think of a useful subject, so......

AB805 in-wall speakers have two identical (approx 6") drivers mounted above and below a tweeter. I'm wondering if the two drivers get the same signal from the crossover? If not, how is the audio allocated to the drivers? And at what frequency does the tweeter kick in?

No they're cascaded. See the different inductor values on the schematic:

Hey, that's interesting! As soon as I get an EE degree I'll be able to tell what the crossover points are! :) Can you give me a clue about the crossover points?

Just listening to them it seems to me that the bottom driver (driver 1 in the schematic) puts out a lot more sound than the upper one does - I think it's kind of the mid-range driver. I'm guessing that the top one (driver 2) is more of a bass driver. It's hard to tell just listening to them.

The schematic shows MW7006 drivers. A couple years ago I got two new MW7008 drivers for a broken AB805 because the Polk parts list says MW7008s and another person (Ken Swauger) told me that AB805s have always had MW7008s in them. Well, my AB805s have MW7006s which is what the schematic shows! I tried the 7008s anyway (they seem physically identical) but they sounded horrible.
I recently got two new AB805s and they both have MW7008s in them. So I guess they changed somewhere along the line.
