what you have quoted above is a coupon for $off of polk speakers. You have to call or e-mail him to get the actual price of the speakers.

Polk does have a presence on e-bay, but that is not it.

I have exchanged some messages with that guy before. He seems genuine enough, and has a store in downtown L.A. In the end, I didn't buy anything from him, but I can go and check out the store if you like, or you could ask Polk Audio if that store (physical location in L.A.) is an authorized dealer or not.

He has given me quotes.. Really great prices. All LSI line. But it sounded too good to be true.. like 35 percent-40 percent difference. I need help!!

I checked some of his prices on the RTi line when they were first being discontinued. His prices were good, but quite similar (or slightly more) that the closeout pricing from places like Fry's. What I am saying is that they were not so cheap as to seem "too good to be true".

I asked him if I could pick stuff up from the store to avoid shipping and he agreed to that, but in the end, I didn't buy anything (too many other upgrade priorities).

Kex, thanks for the information. So I guess this guy really is a dealer with an actual store. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the store or anything. If you know Kex, please let me know the name of it, or if you had the chance to stop the the place. Ultimately getting great prices on new products with no warranty would not justify the discount.
