Dumbest question of the day?

Hi. This question is so basic, I am embarrassed to ask it, but here goes.
I have a Polk 6 surround speaker system purchased several years ago. Recently, my 6-year-old daughter decided to "turn-off" the music by turning the amp fully clockwise (I think that is 11 in Spinal Tap terms). This was not good for my two side speakers (to say the least). I ordered replacement speakers for them with the help of Polk customer service (very impressed with the response and speed of delivery !), and the replacement tweeters and mid-range drivers came today.
Here is the question--the replacement of the mid-range drivers is obvious, but it don't see how to remove the old tweeters from the housing without applying some serious force that would probably break something. It appears they snap into place somehow, but it is not clear (to me anyway) how to unsnap them.
The tweeters are of type RD0438-1, and the overall speaker is a RM Series II Satellite (RMSS). The new tweeter appears compatible.
Any suggestions on how to remove the tweeter and install the new one?
Thanks

Not the dumbest question of the day by far, or even the month. If you think that they would snap in and out, I would go with that and see what you can do. There might be someone on here with that specfic experience, but I would call Polk back because I know they could help you.
