Speaker Type + Driver

I have attached a photo of these plug in computer speakers. Model type?
Do they need a driver/ where can i download the driver?

    They look like a pair I got, what, 8-9 years ago with an HP desktop. Not powered, not very loud with the volume turned all the way up in the windows software. We never installed any type of driver, and have used them with win98se, win millenium, and win xp on differing desktops.

    I don't know if that helps much.
