Polk XRT12 XM Tuner Displays Radio ID

I have a XRT12 installed in a whole house audio system. Periodically, the tuner stops playing and displays the Radio ID number. Even after I cycle power, with in a couple of hours the tuner stops playing and the Radio ID is displayed. I press enter and it starts working again. It can stop anytime - it can be within an hour or several hours. It's a real pain since I have to go back to the head end to restart the tuner. Tuner is about 3 months old.
