I told you to go with a shorter port...but Noooooooo, you had to go long...:p:D

Congrats. Changing the fronts to small probably helped some phase issues, shorting the port made the sub more efficient.

    Great job.

Dont worry Station, as long as it does the job, size doesnt matter. Some of us guys just have ours alittle longer. But if your little stubby one works for you, go with it.:p

I think it had more to do with the configuration of the AVR/Pre Pro over the lenght of the port. Ihad the same driver, and the shorter port sucked. I had to switchback to the long port. Just run the thing for a while before you start tunning it!!! Also What Amp are you currantley using?

    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

    +1

Also room nulls and peaks will be the biggest "say so" in the journey of tweaking. What might sound good in one corner , might sound like crap in another.

I think he said he was using a Buttkicker amp. I noticed , that sub amps need alittle more "playing" time before they are broken in.

Yes, I think I'm done messing with it for a while. I'm very happy with it now. I've got a couple extra couplings, so I can go back longer. I'm using the buttkicker 1000 watt till I can get the dayton. Did you get my PM ben?

LOL.....you have to keep up Mike, things move fast here. Dustradio was on a posting rampage, so that he could get the required 25 to post a for sale ad, which rightfully so, has been deleted. Thanks JB.
