Replacing woofers on RT7? (rattle)

I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post.
I have a pair of RT7's that I'm still fairly happy with even after all these years, but I've got a rattle in one of the speakers that I'm fairly certain is coming from a blown mid-woofer.
I'm going to order a replacement MW8002 (hopefully still available), but I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do while I have the speakers apart to renew them, since they're getting to be about 8 years old. New seals around the drivers? New wiring?
I'm planning on eventually replacing them with some RTi A7's or LSi15's, but I need a new AVR first, as my $500 sony is about 8 years old as well and can't do much with the new Audio and Video formats that are out there now.
Thanks!

There is really nothing else to do besides replacing broken drivers. The wiring will be good unless there is a specific problem you are looking at, and the x-overs are not old enought to replace components. Just replace the woofer and save your money for your next purchase.
Welcome and you can post or PM me if you have any other problems/questions. -
I just took the speaker apart. The spider on the woofer was separating from the frame. I carefully super-glued it back down . . . no more noise. We'll see how long it lasts that way.
Thanks!
