One left at this time. A few in-house, but one that's not spoken for. You got an easy 2-3 hour drive one-way there pal. Price of gas what it is and all .... I'm just saying. It's gonna cost you a few bucks for the Northeast Extension, and a few bucks for the bridge into Jersey too. I'll be happy to sell you one of these things but you have to add all that other stuff up and then maybe add it in.

It sounded awesome through my computer speakers I can imagine sitting in front of it. Too bad I don't have an ipod.

You don't need a freakin' Ipod to use this thing Lightning! It's a tube integrated amp and a pair of nice little two-ways, that happens to come with a fourth piece, an Ipod docking station. You hear me there Lightning? You can get a small outboard phono pre and hook a turntable up to this thing if you wanted to.

George - I'll take one for my stash if you have another one available. I'd like to visit you early next year anyways, can you wait until then?

Absolutely, and I am sold out now but good.

I am holding machines for Doro, Mikey, and Maingey. Tomorrow is another day and we'll see if they have more.

George, Are these compatible with all Ipods? I have a nano and am wondering if it's compatible.

    Thanks,

I can hold his either way Mark, IF I can get him one. I hope so. Although I SHOULDN'T because if you noticed, the **** went and lost a lot of weight just so we couldn't pick on him about it. Freakin' zeppelin.

I just got back. Managed to buy an intact display model with box and all parts. I'll keep that one, and Troy can have the one I have brand new in the box that I was holding for myself. There, my conscience is clear. Although I should open the box and put a big scratch on the fascia of his little amp.

I can't believe that nobody mentioned that in addition to the cool little cables and ****, you ALSO get a long handle, longhair brush to keep the dust off the chrome finish, and a pair of white cotton gloves to handle the items without getting fingerprints on anything! Nice freakin' touch! I gave the salesclerk a bunch of **** for not putting on the gloves before he touched my display model.

Me AND the salesclerk both agree that more of these "discontinued, never going to get any more in" units will probably be available again. I will be going in there on and off this week.

I'm definitely wanting one but no luck so far. I'd drive a reasonable distance to get one (NJ's not what I consider reasonable at this time), but more than likely I'll need to have one shipped. I've been too low on everyone's list so far, but if anyone has a line on some more and thinks they could get one to Arkansas intact for $200 or so, im in.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all of you!

Man, you guys ROCK. George, I assume you know where Wendi keeps the checkbook?

Yeah, I'm a shadow of my former self...but I'm still a ****. I got about 20 more to go before I'll be back to my basic training weight.

Nobody likes you. We got you one cause we felt SORRY for you. There's a difference.

Uh, she might've already "paid" for this one.

Duh, I'm like the kid that nobody liked but had to let play because he was the only one with a real football.

Well, Wendi was dumb enough to marry me...so the same analogy applies.

Your piece is enroute to Maryland via Mike. I have an out and back to Tejas on Saturday. If I get stuck overnight like two weeks ago in Salt Lake City, I won't be home for Sunday. I figured this was the best thing.

Just went to the Fatman site and this is what pops-up when the page loads:

    Latest News

    Warning for all our customers

It has come to our attention that in certain countries a copy of the Fatman iTube and iTube with speakers has appeared. It is important to note that these sub-standard copies are not in anyway connected with the Fatman brand and as such, if they are purchased, we and our various distributors across the world will not support them.

Furthermore, to our knowledge, none of these copy products are approved by Apple Corporation under their Made For iPod programme and as such use unauthorised 30-pin connectors from a non-Apple approved source.

Although it is flattering that such products have appeared as a consequence of the Fatman brand’s success across the world, it is also misleading and confusing for our growing customer and fan-base and this, in our opinion, is unacceptable.

Put simply, if the product doesn’t have a Fatman logo on it, if it doesn’t come in Fatman packaging and if it doesn’t come from a dealer of one our authorised distributors in each country listed on this website, our advice is to not touch it.

Sounds like someone is paranoid about losing money on their product!

    It's here, Mark.

George, that Fantasy blues sampler cleaned-up like a champ and is a flippin' treasure for sure. Thanks!

Dave Van Ronk singing the original "Cocaine" - later reprised by Bob Dylan and Jackson Browne. Furry Lewis' "Going to Kansas City", Rev. Gary Davis does "I'll Fly Away"... it just goes on and on. WOW!

Glad you like it Mike. I'll box up the cd's you left behind and get them to you.

Me and Mike screwed around with the little tube amp today. It drove a pair of Klipsch KG-3.2's that I just picked up to fairly decent levels. There's no way this thing will drive an equivalent size acoustic suspension design, but for vented and passive radiator things it should be just fine. I have a small pair of Roy Allison Labs Mini-Monitors that just might be perfect for it. I forgot to drag out the Magnavox 12" acoustic suspension jobs with the horn tweeter. They might be okay too.

I've been running my RTA12C's from it & they sound great!

Next week I'm going to do a comparison w/my NAD. Can't imagine the little tube amp will beat it, but it'll be fun to check it out.

Bank on it. I had the HCT in my hands today and examined it closely. The only differences between it and the Fatman are the decals and several Franklins.

BTW - They (Fatman) have EPS and JPG logo imagery freely available on the web site (http://www.fat-man.co.uk/docs/press_resources_07/press_resources.shtml). It would be child's play to make a "real" Fatman. :p
