PSW-450 no sound

I have dual subwoofers in my HTS, both PSW-450. I realized when hooking up a new SurroundBar (to check out how it sounds) early in November that the right sub is not working, no sound. The power switch shows red when in the off postion, but green when in the on or auto position. The heat sink on the back is warm, as it normally would be when on. I have dual sub outputs on my Sony receiver, and both work with one of the subs, and both cables work with the 'working' sub, so the problem appears to be isolated to a subwoofer problem. Is there anything to check or do I just need to get it serviced. I believe I purchased the subs in 2002. Thanks for your assistance.

Push the driver in very easily and lightly. If the driver is frozen(not moving) or scratching, the voicecoil on the driver is blown. If it feels to move freely you could always try to swap the amps in both subwoofers and see if it is the amp. If the amp from the "bad" sub works in the good sub, then it's the subwoofer that is the problem. If it doesn't work, the problem lies with the amp.
