You should seriously consider upgrading your crossovers. It make such a huge improvement is overall sound, tone and bass response.
I will definitely do the crossovers or look to have them done. I haven't done any serious soldering in a long time. I do have the compendium II and I will tackle it some time this spring. Tweeters will be done soon though.Home Theater

When you are ready give me a holler, I have detailed pics of when I did mine and I'll be glad to help you out.
It really is very easy. I hadn't done any soldering in years. The biggest problem is getting over the fear of doing it or effing it up. Once you beat that it's a breeeeeeeeze -
I am definitely in the don't want to eff it up club. I think that the biggest concern about it is if I screw it up can I at least put it back the way it was or is it possible to buy a replacement circuit board and start from scratch. Or am I simply making mountains out of molehills? I really appreciate your offer of help and I will definitely contact you.hearingimpared wrote: »When you are ready give me a holler, I have detailed pics of when I did mine and I'll be glad to help you out.

Conquer your fear of effing it up. It really is not that big a deal. A little planning and patience plus the pics I have will get you through the planning part.
Not to mention the dozens of guys here who have done up their crossovers. All you have to do is ask a question before moving on to the next step.
PS: when you're ready PM me and I'll send back my phone number. -
Cool, thanks.
