I've been fighting the urge to buy them to place next to my 1.2 TLs. F1nut's sounded so awesome that I want these in my home to compare after doing the upgrades.

    Problem is; It's Christmas time.

I already spied those. That's on the absolute limit of what I would want to drive at this point. I'm gonna call him and see what kind of interest he's been getting and go from there. I wouldn't be able to go until after New Year's anyway.

I joined the club to respond... I'm interested. First the speakers. I will let you know in a few days if I can buy these and come pick them up (I'll check my finances and schedule on the 1st). Second, would you be willing to part with the single, ever elusive, hardly before photographed, spare SL-3000? I need it to fix my beloved RTA-15tl's. I don't really want to go with the silk replacments. Please let me know here or you can email me at: benblack0000@yahoo.com

I would really like to keep it as a spare with the pair. But im sure if you're looking for some there are a few people on this forum that would sell you a pair.

Post in the WTB section and you should turn up some leads.

Thanks for the advice. I'll let you know soon if I can manage the speakers. I'd love to have them as an awesome upgrade to my HT.

Believe me, if I had a place to store them, I would have bought them when they first posted.

I bought a pair of 2b's at a community yard sale in Cary. I had no idea what they were but they came with a cable that connected them together. They were $75 so I thought I would take a chance on this odd speaker. I discovered the great sda sound and I sold all my other speakers. I have been reading this forum for a couple of years now. Lots of great info here.

I hope you get them. I really don't need another pair of sda speakers.
