Shirley Manson is awful. 9 out of 10 people on the street could handle the role as well as she's doing...and...we all get older.

Similar to last year the show tightened up and got much better at the end. Don't spoil the finale, I've got it on my DVR

After you watch it, I would like to read your thoughts.

Mantis...I enjoyed it. Here's what I posted on the AVS thread in the HDTV Programming Forum. There's a ton of discussion over the last 4 or 5 pages on the series and this episode if you're interested. My thoughts about the program in general are that it could be very good, but was totally inconsistent...anyway here's what I said without revealing any of the plot. While I liked the episode and season finale, I'm with VisionOn on this one. They finally pushed the story forward at better than a snails pace. A couple of nice reveals and neat twists certainly brought the entertainment factor up and opened some interesting future storylines. However, waaaaaaaayyyyy too little to late...and as mentioned...the plot is still riddled with inconsistencies that are sure to plague any unlikely future efforts. Even if the series were able to continue, the causality loops would make the plot even harder to maintain and given the writer's/showrunner's penchant to lose all momentum in carrying on an over-arcing storyline, S3 would likely lose any cohesion with the existing verse (which was on shaky ground). I'll just take this as shown, enjoy the openendedness (is that a word?) and move on. It's a shame, the show has always had a kernel of real quality to it, but they'd only take it out, polish it off and show us what it was occasionally.

I now watched it 4 times( ok obsessive I know) and I found all kinds of linking answers to questions. even in the last minutes, with no words, you got a lot of questions answered somewhat. I found it to be brilliant writing if you pay attention. I also felt this season was a bit slow, but in the end many things now make sense.
I could have closure to the show with this final EP but I will honestly say I want more, there are still questions unanswered. I want to know more.
I do however think it's fantastic to take a movie like the Terminator and make it into a show. Moving forward in time and learning more about John Connor. He was talked about in the first movie but you really didn't get much about him. In T2 you watched him as a young boy and learned some about him. But the Tv series took it to another level, for me anyway. I really enjoyed the show. I plan on re watching season 1 and seeing if there are any details I missed.

Haven't missed a single episode. DVR is the best invention since indoor plumbing. I've still got it and will be watching it again.
I'm right in that the Cameron that John sees with Kyle is the one that gets captured/interrogated then killed when they make a skinjob replica of her...right?
If so, John can finally get rid of the sexual tension he has for her, that's been apparent for most of the series."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I wanna see that Episode again. I forget some details about that whole thing. I remember doing some things while I was watching that EP. I can't wait for the Blu ray's to come out.

Allison was John's girlfriend and was captured and interrogated by Cameron her T-double. Cameron was going to infiltrate the resistance and kill John. Allison was killed/killed herself in Cameron's memory flashbacks (even though the show was first person Allison (not sure how they'd explain that).
One of the interesting yet confusing concepts repeated in passing over the last season, was that every time someone, human or T came back, it changed the future. The future they left no longer existed, though it might be similar. John Henry, the Mansonator and JC ended up in a future where he wasn't the guy. Judgement Day evidently had happened, but w/o JC as the leader (yet).
mantis, I'm curious too and I watched every ep as well. I'm a huge sci-fi fan and when this show was good it was very good...there were just too many stinkers.

Your right, every time someone came back, the future was different. I didn't pay close enough attention to that underlying story. It was right there but I kinda was looking at the other stories more closely.
I really didn't think there was any stinkers, some where slower then others but overall they all fit together and tell the entire story. I think that we want to know the part of the story we want to know and want to skip over the rest, but if you stop and think , all parts are necessary to get the entire story.

I just thought they had a great premise and mishandled it. It might not have ever made it even being my re-imagined better show, but I'd have been happier and I think most of the audience would be as well.

So whats the word, I heard they are making a season 3 and I also heard it was cancelled. Does anyone know for sure what is to happen to this show? I will pissed off as hell if they cancel it. There is more to tell, ends to fit in, all kinds of stuff to do.
