I received an email from the seller....not original Polkstands. They simply had Polk speakers placed upon them.....hmmmmm, Silent Night perhaps?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Great, want a cookie?

Polk or not, still doesn't take away the fact it's now the third pair that was either sold with or used with Polks. There is some sort of significance there considering the rarity of the stand.

Regardless, they make a great 10 stand, and I hope McLoki goes for them and just cuts them down to the size he needs, since I'm sure he is more than capable due to the fact he originally wanted to build replicas of the ones I had.

Our Polk 10A's live on Lovan 20" stands. They're as heavy empty (yes you could fill these with sand or shot) as our Sanus UF's. Don't have to worry about them getting knocked over on these Lovan's, every bit as well made as our Sanus stuff. Happy Holiday's to everyone.

Cover them with some Laura Ashley fabric to match the room decor. Put some doilies and a scented candle of top, the play some Yanni music.

I think we got the issue resolved. A local Polkie (well sort of local) is hooking me up with a set of stands.

    Thanks dkg999... :D

Got the stands from DKG999 and thanks to the Karma from George D. am now enjoying my 10's while doing some work on my basement. (studding out the walls)

They sound great. Thanks so much for the stands. While DKG did purchase them with his original monitor 10's, the stands were the correct height but were flat with no tilt.

A quick trip through my miter saw and the 10's are now sitting at a 5 degree tilt and sound great.

I am happy as a clam. Thanks everyone for your help (especially you Doug)

    Michael

BTW - here is a pic of my new basement rig...
