iSonic FM reception

I just bought an iSonic radio. $600. The FM reception is worse than any radio I've ever owned. I can't get anything local, remote or anything inbetween, let alone HD radio. NONE. Zero.

Could there be something wrong with the radio, or is this just normal? The radio is on an inside wall in a room with a north-west facing window. The radio it was replacing (Cambridge Soundworks) got far more reception than this radio.

I tried everything. I have a power antenna, and tried that. Nada. I used the dipole, stood on my head and wiggled my ears. Nada.

Should I just return it, lick my wounds and move on? It's about the way I feel right now. $600 and this thing can't recieve a standard FM signal?

Any comments are appreciated.

There's obviously something wrong if it can't pickup the radio. Return it.

you should move immediately quite likely your house is under Alien microwave attack, your probably already sterile, after you move call Polk Customer Service.

asquaredflyer, I've let Ken Swauger (Polk Audio Customer Service / Parts Jedi) know about the issue you are having with FM reception - it will probably be Monday before he can talk to you and get you squared away.

Yeah, get with Ken and get this sorted out.....I'd be ticked if something that expensive didn't work.

Mine has fantastic reception so not sure what the issue is.
