Delta?

Force Recon?

SAS?

Mossad?

I'll take Delta or Mossad.

Uh, how would you actually go about verifying something like this?

I doubt that Consumer Reports would actually have a SF category.

The US Navy Seals have the highest failure rate during thier BUDS training of any of the US special Operation units.Any of the US special Operation units are some of the most highly trained Soldiers in the World.

Seriously though, it depends on the application. For an assasination, I'd go either SEAL, or Mossad. For rescue operations, I'd go Delta, or a FAST team(Marine version of FBI'S hostage rescue) and are recruited from Force Recon.
At least that's what I was told when I was in the USN!?

No offense but it's a stupid question.

It's sorta like asking who is stronger Super Man or Hercules?

Isn't it kind of ridiculous to even be questioning which teams are the best? Who cares if the SEALs fail some test more often . . . the fact that the even have the privilege and the opportunity to take the taste speaks volumes.

I think the better question is "Who likes to kickass or chew bubble gum."

My cousin was in the Ranger Special Forces or something like that. He was a sniper specialist. I know my terms are probably not right, but the fact is that he was a nut. He grew up in the military and breathed it everyday. He fouhgt in both Iraq wars and he'd still be doing it if he was alive. He loved what he did. It takes a special kind of person to be able to endure what he did.

All of those teams you describe are the greatest.

My cousin and his spotter were ambushed in Iraq. He and the spotter took out 23 terrorists before they were overwhelmed. 23/2 is not a bad kill ratio when you are out there alone.

Amazing how stuff like that never makes it past the local news. Your cousin was a hero in my book, this country is at a loss without him.

The only hero story Ive ever seen on national news was where a guy jumped on a nade to save his friends around him...I dont know if I could ever do that...

Indeed, your cousin is a hero. It is a shame you never hear anything like that in the news.

    Hats off to your cousin.

the Mossad is just Israels intellegence and they are the best in the world. most efficient for a small tightly run organisation.

i would put my money on israels special forces.

they fight with a fire that burns inside them. something that they belive in so strongly.
no other country has that much dedication.

look at the 6 day war. thats ruthless efficiency at its best

It is a dumb question, I agree....All I know is my best friend is a Navy SEAL and he is one badass ****. When he left Milwaukee he was going to join the Navy. This is the same guy who used to get completely schnockered with me in school on the weekends and now he was going to be in the military. I really couldn't believe it when he came back after boot camp and told me he was going to try out for a Navy SEAL team. I didn't tell him, but I didn't think he had a chance in hell of making it. When I heard a knock on my door one day and he was standing there with a **** eating grin on his face I knew he made it. I really think that's one of the most proud I have ever been of someone.

Man, the stories of the **** those guys go through are just unreal. Open ocean swims for hours on end with shitloads of gear. Then they throw canteens out for you from speed rafts....only to find out they were filled with sand instead of water.

I know all of the other U.S. Special Forces training is just as hard and I respect the hell out of them all. It honestly takes a different breed. You can take the toughest looking dude you know and he'll turn into a complete **** during the training, like most of us would.

The military is only as strong as it's commander in chief... and well... heh... 'nuff said.

How ironic that the most well trained and equipped military in the world is controlled by a guy that went AWOL and then had to have his father cover it up for him.
