SDA SRS Damping

Polk technical dept,

What would be the best way to reduce the slight bass boost in the SDA SRS speakers? I'm inclined to add/update damping material but I'm not sure where in the cabinet would be the ideal location and what kind of material would be best suited for this application. I'm looking to achieve a flat frequency response across the board from these speakers and the bass is just a little "thick". I still want to maintain the soundstage and presence these speakers produce.

Sincerely

ED

Have you tried moving them out from the back wall a few more inches?
