Any band named after a character from Barbarella is kinda cool IMO.

That didn't occur to me. You came up with "Mott the Hoople", so you can't be too wrong on this one.

Okay, I will make up for that one by adding one to the best list:

    Crash Test Dummies

    Another best:
    Echo & The Bunnymen

Might have to start a separate thread for the "****" and the "YYYY's". That could be good, too. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Seager and the Silver Bullet Band come to mind as good, Tony Orlando and Dawn would be on the lame side.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

The Heartbreak of Psoriasis is a pretty good name for a band and I don't think it's taken yet.

I always thought Kiss was as lame as it got. Then a band with that name hit the scene and proved it.
