I always had a soft spot for the frag gun in Unreal Tournament. You guys got me wanting to blow stuff up:D
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

The Wave Motion Gun should be in the list.

I agree with the BFG and a few others. Some I've never heard of.

I would say TroyD's hedgerow at Polkfest '04 was pretty formidable but that only involved me.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

After mulling it over all day, the Lancer from Gears of War is pretty effing cool. Its probably the only weapon I've had to show off/demo to friends not yet acquainted with it. It always impresses.

I always loved Han Solo's Laser Pistol and Chewbacca's Laser Crossbow. Nothing tops a Lightsaber though in my eyes. How many people that have pissed you off have you dreamed about cutting in half with one of those.

I just thought of the fictional weapon that I would least want to face in a fight. And that is the air pump from the video game Dig Dug. What kind of sick **** goes around plugging innocent orange guys and dragons with an air pump, and then inflating them until they pop. The BFG9000 would be the easy way out....

I was always a fan of the pipe bombs from Duke Nukem 3D. Nothing like filling a building full of explosives and triggering them all when the monsters show up.

The grenade launcher from Quake was pretty innovative in its time, too. Bouncing shells of the walls. Great in the low gravity levels.

You know what? They also forgot one of the first awesomest weapons of all! Apogee Games' Wolfenstein 3D had the ultimate gun for the game as this giant chain gun. Nothing stood in it's way except the final boss of the game but even he didn't last long against it. You could walk into a room full of **** and just plow them down from left to right and spray the whole room with hot lead. It made clearing a level so easy that the hardest part was keeping the chain gun swimming in ammo!
