Recommend Earphones for Gym Please

I think this has been asked but I couldn't find it. I need a really good set of earphones for running and the gym. Something that sounds great and won't fall out of my ears but not expensive. The set I have now sound like crap.

Actually I may be interested in two sets. A pair for the gym with more isolation properties and one for running so I can still be aware of my surroundings.

someone here recommended this, and I got one. For the price and free shipping, why not! It sounds very good too.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

JVC Marshmellows $20.00 at Walmart. Plenty good for the gym.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

I have a pair of sony phones that wrap around the back of the ear.....I always trip over my feet on the treadmill and rip the ear buds outta my ears so I switched to these. This way if it happens again I just rip my ears off.

Cost me $20 for them at Worst Buy

    (kidding, these work great though)

The Shure E2cs are a good buy, but I would recommend the JVCs over them for jogging. My Shures don't tend to stay in place when I run, but I have friends who use the JVCs and have never had a issue.

Thanks guys . I have smallish ears so those bud things don't always work. I have always needed the wrap around the ears type for running as everything else has always fallen out. Maybe for $20.00 I will check out the Marshmallows..

If that makes you feel safer with headphones on....more power to ya....;)

I just assume shotgun was easier because you could lead it with the barrel over your shoulder and shot the person trying to stab you with the knife without even having to move.....clean up would be a mess though, you might end up with splatter on your rears surrounds.

You could just get an elliptical crosstrainer and position it in the music room. Turn up the volume a little and your good to go. :)

LOL. Me too. That's why I don't want isolation anything when I am running. I probably shouldn't listen to music at all while I am running.:p

When I was in my house, I had a gym with a treadmill etc. but I prefer to actualy run in the elements. It would be cool to have a treadmill in the sweet spot of a 5.1 set up though.:D

That would be sweet. Even have a video of a long road to look at. :p
I kinda prefer elliptical crosstrainers. I get more results from it than the treadmill and ones you get a hang of it, it does feel like running but with out the impact on the joints.;)

I always feel somewhat off balance with the treadmill.:(

That would be amazing. I look like a mentally challenged person on a treadmill though unfortunately. I have trouble with the one foot in front of the other thing. I try to use the treadmill as much as possible but I find myself going back to the elliptical.

I wish I could say the same. I've been a chunky since high school and I hate it. But that changed this past summer so I'll use whatever it takes. Even the ellipsys whatsamawhosits!

I'd probably get the Triple Fi 10s, although if you're just looking for something at the gym, something like the Senn MX450 may work just fine.

O.K. I just can't do the in the ear thing. My ears will not cooperate and I can still hear the loud crappy gym music. So.....any recommendations for over the ear noise cancellation for the gym? We are talking serious workouts so they can't be too bulky or cumbersome. I was even considering the <GASP!!!> Bose QC3's but some reviews say the sound is muddy. I know I know ...:o
