I-sonic / power failure

I have had my i-sonic over a year and have the following problems -anyone else? I have not yet notified support but will do so tonite.
After a power outage the i-sonic resets to the screen that displays choice of time zones. Using the menu buttons can restore the clock display which has the correct time- BUT if the alarm clock was due it would not sound.
Also, occassionally--cause unknown-- the time display freezes and the i-sonic must be turned off and back on to then manually reset the time. Obviously no alarm clock sounds in this case either.
This is making it very unreliable due to the number of electrical storms (Florida) and power outages/surges from nearby construction or other causes.
I hope this can be easily fixed since I otherwise love the device (except for the akward menu system)
Anyone else with similar problems?
Thanks, Mike

Mike, I'll have Ken check this thread and get you squared away.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
I am having similar problems. My unit just started to make a humming sound. This evening when turning it on, it required a time reset. Then when installing a DVD, it appears to restart, the screen goes haywire, and it requires a time reset. It repeats this over and over, and will not play DVDs or CDs now. Any suggestions?
