Hi, this is my first post here. I've had Polks for about 15 years now (Montior 4 Series 2), but I'm posting here to ask about my surround speakers that I got used back in 1999. They are Polks, the sticker on the back says "minimonitor". I have no documentation on these speakers and I couldn't find any info on the main Polk site. Does anybody have any info on these speakers? Here's a front pic...

Thanks.:)

These are great little speakers! I have four of them. I used to think they were okay, with a Yamaha stereo amplifier, but then I hooked them up to a harman/kardon with a CS245i center channel: I was surprised at just how good they are, a real little powerhouse of a speaker IMO.

Anyway, long story short, I still have the manuals and you will find all the info you need in the next post. A very warm welcome to the forum BTW. I'm still a bit of a n00b here myself, (even though I have owned the MiniMonitors for almost as long as you and have two other five speaker sets of Polk Audio) so I think some of the veteran members are still a little suspicious of me!

Thanks Kex! I really wish the guy I bought these from had all the orginal packing and manuals. He said he threw all that away as soon as he bought them. I ALWAYS keep all the original boxes and manuals.:)

And yes, these are some good sounding speakers. I have these running rear surround on my 5.1 system. I have older Monitor 4 Series 2 speakers up front and a CS100 for the center.

I put my system up in the showcase today: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showcase/view.php?userid=83850
