Here are some preliminary pics of two of my latest acquisitions into the high end; Musical Fidelity Tri Vista 300 Integrated Amp, ZYX R1000 Airy 3S-SB.

They are purrrty but they sound even better, actually incredible. I was just recently at a high-end show and nothing I heard there was better. I, of course, am biased.

Not pictured is a set of MIT MH 750 Shotgun Bi-wires. . . it is amazing how they level off the image and depth that previously climbed up the 1.2 TLs.

Welcome to the world of MF hi-fi! I'm enjoying a couple of lesser models right now, but they are no slouches.

Musical Fidelity A3.2 integrated (dual mono)
    Musical Fidelity A3.2 CD

They are a handsome and impressive combo, but I think I now need to upgrade / update my ICs to keep pace. I've lost SACD playback by going to the MF over my PE 46 with Theta DAC, but the redbook quality seems as good and it looks so good in my rack that I'm not sure I could part with one. If I sell, I'm going to have to just sell them as a pair cuz they look so good together. Like they were carved out of the same piece of aluminum to work in perfect harmony.

The blue lights are overdone and tacky. Other than that, I really like the hard lines and the look of it all. Sound is 'right there' for some people.

Wow how differently people see things; I think the combination of the high polished fascia and blue glowing lights especially in the feet make the thing absolutely gorgeous.

I've slowly been moving my 2-channel rig towards blue lights. MF gear, Theta DAC, Monster HTS-5100 SS, etc. are all blue light specials. I think my LCD in that rig has a blue light somewhere as well. . . yes, I have a LCD in my 2-channel rig.

I'm going to move my HT rig to blue lights as well. Just need to replace my B&K 1430 with a newer 125.5 or something as they have blue lights.

Russ is jealous. Rock on with those big knobs and blue lights, Joey.

Andy, I was seriously considering the Musical Fidelity A3.2 CD player until I found out that it didn't do SACD. I really want both and I definitely can't afford the kW CD/SACD player so I am going to save up and get the next best CD/SACD player I can.

Let me know what the "next best CD/SACD player" is that you can find. I hate to lose SACD, but not sure if I have a good option to achieve both. . . unless I go back to my old setup, which would basically render my MF A3.2 CD useless.
