You heat your water with the pilot alone? Holy crap... My pilot wouldn't even keep the burn chamber warm, much less heat 40 gallons of water...
Mine is a 30 gallon. The recoup time is pretty high(about an hour), but I don't use it very heavy anyway.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. I'm paying less than $60 a month in electric bills, and i have electric heat. (Groundwater heat pump, actually)
