Fair and unbiased. Great job, Marvin! You didn't pan them or gush over them. Gave enough info to let others judge for themselves. I'll check out a set myself soon and see.
    Keep it up.

    Nice review.

I reviewed a few of the MAC cables in affordable audio ezine last month and came to same conclusion as you did about the Palladiums. Just awesome, natural sounding cables. Also as you indicated, it takes lots of time to demo different arrangements of cables because even switching ICs within your system can make a dramatic difference in the sound.

Interestingly, I just hooked up MAC power cables this evening for my HT pre and amp. I'm also using the Palladiums between the pre and CDP, and a single MAC Cu IC for the center channel. Great cables at great prices.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I really like them. I've been using one on my amp for about three months. I tried it on my CDP, but it didn't work well there.

have you noticed any of the slowing of tempo or cloudy sound in upper bass/lower midrange?

Nope. Although with the MAC PC on the CDP, it sucked the bass out, so it had to go.

I used the Palladiums I/C's for awhile.I thought they where good, but not great.Less bass, huge soundstage, tad bit less detail in the music.Might just be bad synergy for me with Macs.Z-squared makes some decent all around I/C's.
