Speaker Stands for LSi9?

Hi everybody,

It's been a long time since my last post. Nice to see some of you are still around.

Do you think 26in tall stands are enough for LSi9s as rear speakers? (looking for example at Sanus SF26 @ $100. Also, none of the NF series support more than 25lb :( )

Is it me, or there isn't anything out there taller that can handle the 31lb these weigh?

Before you ask :), I was looking for the 7s for rears but I just could not ignore the deal I got when tweeter left my area. And no, walls are not an option for me.

Thanks a lot.

Bernardo, have you been lurking around for the past 6 years? ;)

This is what I use for LSi9:

So far so good and still going strong for 4+ years.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Not really, I started lurking around lately. Don't even remember when I stoped before. I guess I suddenly got too busy or other things caught my attention :)

That's good to know, because those are supposed to withstand only 25lb...
Are you happy with that height (30in) for rears? Or would you go to the 34in ones if you were looking now?

I have both, 30" and 34" - for rears, I used 34" with LSi7 at one time, and also tried 34" with LSiFX. I definitely feel that for rears 34" is better. Just make sure that you don't have kids running around...

Sanus Natural @30" for front. Plenty solid enough.

edit: Fronts are LSi9's @ over the rated weight, woops.
