help... need info on 5yr warrente

the otherr day i had some ":joe walsh "rocky mountain way" in the cd ,happy as can be... -25db (marantz sr18-ex)volume , when i saw SMOKE coming from my right rt800i!!!!
took the grill off and the tweater was smokin!!!! :(
i have had them for 10 months (never really had the speakers up that loud/with in reason)
when i bought the speakers (all polk ) i didnt get the extended warrente because i thought ... Y , there POLKS there aint anything gointo happen to them, there to good .
well :(
SO, i need help on how do i get the tweaters replaced/fixed , i have 5 yrs from polk on them ... RIGHT ?!?!
please reply to this, im using some extra r10's for my mains :( that sure aint no rt800i's thats for sure!

    you have to have your sales slip and get polks address to send it in and they will replace it, I called and asked after getting some speakers just to know later and thats what they told me
