Yeah, Ted mentioned that to me as I carried them back down stairs after I fixing my babies - hahahah

But, once we got them hooked up in that huge room... they pretty much remained planted there for me -- what a spectacular soundstage they had in that room.

    Thanks Ted! Appreciate it! :)

    Thanks everyone!

The Stingray can drive alot more speaker than the Tylers, you just have to know how to use it...............;) for a full range speaker it needs to be set to the ultra linear mode for the volume these yoyo's want, I even drove the Amazings to an acceptable level with the Stingray........some people just do not know what they do not know when the post something........

Enjoy your new amps Trey, they look awesome.

The SDA 1C /Manley rig was nothing short of spectacular,IMHO,then throw in that Jolida(Jesse's,I believe), we were listening to AK,,my wife said to me afterwards,,she sounds better on that system than she did in person,I expected to be blown away by the Carvers, which I was,,but the upstairs rig was spectacular. Jusy my .02 worth.
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

I still gave the edge to the woodshed rig at polkfest, but i agree that there was something about that Manley rig with the SDA1C's I dug, enjoyable both on Tom's Rega and Jesse's Jolida as a source.

always liked tubes, and combine that with a simple layout, and such good sound. nicey nice man.

P.S., Trey, badass amps man. If I ever plan a trip to Dave's, I gotta detour to your pad and get ears on that. Something about Oddysey gear intrigued me, they look beefy too

Looking good Sid!! I have always wanted to pull the trigger on an amp from the big German, but always had second thoughts ordering from a guy that can't/won't use email, can't/won't update his website, and is MONTHS behind getting product out to his customers.
Great amps, but the latter scares me.

You know there was such a good time at the fest with all the great gear and speakers around the place, thanks to so many who brought gear to demo and add to the whole event, good people just relaxing and enjoying themselves, getting their hi-fi on, no silly bickering about some cable or capacitor, it was obvious the better caps Jesse had put in the Jolida had improved it, it was obvious that the Jolida and the Rega charachteristics sounded different with different speakers it was obvious the Rega and Jolida sources were different sounding with the same set up, it was obvious that the MF Kw sacd had a sound that is special and so on, now we have Trey continuing to improve his rig with more power as he looks to refine this aspect, with all the BS the past few days from the anti hi-fi audio insurgents and people just interested in tearing things apart, its important to realize the hardcore group at the fest as well as those who we know wanted to be but just could not make this one are really the heart and soul of this place, all sharing a common denominator.

I am sure some of these detractors realize the above and seem to want to do their best to drive wedges or to paraphrase "bring someone down" well, it just is not going to happen, particularily, as long as our fests, gatherings, and just stopping by another members place to say hello keeps on like it is.

As GG just recently said "those of you know who you are and who you are not".
    Carry on gents.
