After moving my eq around my xlr cables are tooo long, how do I get the ends off of the cable to make them shorter? Should I just forget about it & leave them the length they are?

Forget it and leave it the length they came with. They will be fine. If need be, coil them.

Thanks I guess thats why you use balanced cables because the length doesnt produce any lose of signal.

also, unless youve had some experience soldering i dont think it would be a good idea. the cable needs to be cut and then resoldered onto the end
