I'd like to set my computer up beside my speakers/sub but I'm a little gunshy.
What say the experts?

It depends on what you have. Could you please list the gear that you are trying to do this with? That will help us help you.
Thanks~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
just pick them up and start walking next to some monitors
- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
If you put them next to the monitor and the colors go funny they are not magnetically shielded. If that happens use the degauss feature on you monitor.

I've got Monitor 60s, 30s, 2 CS1s and a PSW10.
