    Play nice guys:)
I was thinking about drop downs across the top as is here, but I am not planning on offering a bunch of different products, and that would not show all items I have on the first page. I also think drop downs are a pain when the sub menu disappears, and you have to go back to the main drop down menu again. Also I am trying to avoid java script as much as possible. If you browser is set to max security drop downs don't work

More modifications in the wee hours. The first page used to be the home page for the shopping cart, and there were concerns about adding info clearly about some present products, and future products to come. Another issue was search engines picking key words out of the shopping cart, and not from the info pages.
    What do you think?
    Thanks again

BW is me, and WBT is a company that makes very nice, but expensive connectors.

    Ben it looks really nice..

although you should prob explain what WBT means and how it's a different connector than the other ones.. people will want to know why they are better/different and does it justify the cost of them. I have a pair of Signal Cables with WBT's. so i already know about them.. but someone visiting your web site may not.

Why not get some other connectors and offer them as options? WBT, Vampire Wire, Eichmann, etc.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yes I do need to work on verbal candy that does not over extend into BS.
Also I am getting the black gold plated Nuetrik XLR's. The nickels just look gaudy compared to black, and orange. The present XLR pics are embarrassing to have on my site:o

It has a smaller animated gif, and you can copy and paste the code to yours to simplify things.
    Thanks again Ben

I would love to say thanks for the nice work, but my buddy is the coder:)

He is actually now working on a pretty complicated Invoicing web based app for an aircraft electronic parts repair service.

Sorry, It's bad. I don't know enough of your product to tell if it's a good deal or not. Couple comments/suggestions:

    1. Don't greet visitors with a big wall of text, show them some of your products right away.

    2. From the home page it's a little hard to tell you are a store.

    3. If you have the budget, find a local graphic artist to at least design you a header graphic. Maybe even get them to design a template. I'm assuming you are somewhat locked into the look of the shopping cart. (I've posted two $50-$100 design contests on sitepoint.com with good success.)

    4. Customer testimonials are always good for a new site.

    5. Show some SSL logos or something that proves you are a solid site.

    My $.02

    I agree with Jamison 100%.

If you're going to get in with the big dogs and want to stand out, you need to plan things out better and make that site look sharp and work slick.

INVEST IN A LOGO! Do it yourself or get a graphic designer. The text for your logo right now is just that, simple black script. The simplicity works (look at Polk's logo), but it doesn't stand out.

You have a storefront, so you need to make it look like a place people are going to want to buy from. A site that looks slapped up is going to put the question into the minds of the buyer of whether or not you're reputable.

For a simple hobby site it's fine, but it won't go anywhere else like that.

This is meant to be helpful, not mean. :)
