Well, since the ban was either:
A knee jerk reaction from a mod protecting his freind or banning someone unjustifiably because of a different viewpoint (and was subsequently overturned by the admin)
OR
a time out to get him in line and realize that this forum is full of internet bully's and how he shouldn't react to their trolling.
Either case, the admin felt he was justified to be here, paid a price and toned down the attitude.
BTW, weren't YOU going to be banned once and were only allowed to stay after everyone came to your side. Should we just flame and ignore you as well?

You don't have to spoon feed me anything slick. I know a dunderhead when I see one, so does 95% of the board. If you don't see it, I honestly don't care. I actually stood up for the clown in the beginning, oh starting around the pink noise break in thread. I was emailed and pm'd multiple times from multiple members to 'please get rid of this guy' to which my reply was 'I can't simply because I or anyone else doesn't like him - he breaks the rules, that's a different story, and he hasn't done that YET'.
I love everyone passing judgement without knowing ALL the facts, but then again, that's par for the course around here. Again, I simply don't care.
If you want to be his buddy, be my guest, he isn't long on friends around here so far and could probably use one.

We must all realize this is not our forum, it belongs to Polk.
We are all guests of Polk Audio.
I wouldn't dare come in your house, and ask you to make a guest of yours leave.
As a moderator, YOU should have stepped in and stopped the abuse I was taking.
But, you allowed it to continue until I blew my top.
Then, that gave you the "excuse" you needed to ban me.
Kinda like going by a dog every day and teasing it.
Then one day, w/o "doing anything", the dog shows teeth at you.
You "innocently" say "LOOK at that mean **** Dog", neglecting to show YOUR Part in what you previously did to it.

IMHO You failed this forum as a Moderator because you were unable or unwilling to stand up to your friends/customers.
Perhaps selling stuff to people here or retaining your little click of friends is more important then proper moderation of this forum ?

Ya see, a decent person after the ban was lifted would have posted up, something like, "Wow folks WE got off on the wrong foot and would have tried to be a member of the Club with a little humility. Instead he came back with an obnoxious ABX and then when he was formally allowed back on started waving his **** at Russ and Jesse and everyone else spouting how he was empowered!!! I've said some really stupid things here as has most of us. I took the chastisement and humbled myself admitted I was wrong and then joined in the discussion. This guy climbed higher on his high horse and continued to lecture and ridicule, THAT IS WHY I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE CLOWN! That is why I have him on my ignore list. I can read others who've posted behind him and can make a pretty good guess what the clown is saying again.

Possibly the best forum feature we have, and we have a LOT of cool features. As I told a forum friend in an email 'He may actually have something interesting to say on occasion, but damned if it isn't all lost in the delivery.'
Some guys just don't know when to stop, he keeps lobbing them up, the forum will keep knocking them out of the park. He stops acting like an ****, he'll probably stop getting treated like one. Nobody is telling you to kiss anyone's butt . . . a little humility for getting the PRIVILEGE of being a member of this fine forum would do you very well. Then maybe you will be invited to different events at other members homes, or maybe you will be humbled by a members kindness to you or maybe even asked to break bread with some really decent members and their families. It seems you are choosing the low road instead of joining OUR family.

Then I found myself banned, unable to post.
When I was "down" the members of this fine "family" continued to put the boots to me, and so I deleted my cookies then "summoned" ABX.
When ABX was also banned, it left me the choice to either summon another entity, or go to Polk.
I went to Polk one time, and one time only.
I have NOT reported any posts, nor do I intend to.
That is not my way. -
