Ever try turning your interconnects around, or your speaker wires, and hear a difference ?
I have done it with interconnects, and heard a difference at exactly the same volume setting.

Nope. Never cared to try it. My RCA's are directional anyway and I can't see my speaker wire being any different flipped around either. To each their own, though.

In an ABX test, there was no difference, but when we did it w/o the ABX, I thought there was a slight difference.

Good lord guys, I haven't lost this much respect for long term members in a long time and having mods piling on and flaming people just tops it all off. Looks like one person's learned their lesson and moved on while others feel it's necessary to act like a bunch of 4th graders and pile on. Does he really threaten your knowledge and self esteem that much? Can’t you debate him using facts rather than bad movie quotes? And the fact that people find this “entertaining”, well, that’s just a sad statement about our world.

Come on guys, grow up and move on.

I have read through most of the threads in question and after his ban (which was justified) I see 1 person getting jumped REGARDLESS of what he says by the same group over, and over, and over again. Am I missing something? I mean, did he rape someones dog and then crap in their cereal or what?

Here's how I saw it: He brought up points that the majority (or at least the vocal folks) around here do not agree with and he got attacked. At first (and only briefly) it was his ideas, but then it became personal attacks, he responded in kind in an inappropriate manner and was banned temporarily. Now he's back and has, for the most part, eliminated the personal stuff. However the same folks are still going after him personally over and over again.

    So what's there to understand?

I played "Stairway to Heaven" and when I reversed my cable direction I heard satanic messages, try it!

Wow how differently we see things.

I had no problem with the guy before he got banned. Before he got banned I found him annoying but that's all. I know there are people who find me annoying so I never replied back to the guy.

During his ban as ABX and after his reinstatement he has become not just annoying but absolutely disrespectful and an intolerable, pompous bafoon who just wants to stir up the **** and piss long term and senior members off.

How you don't see that is beyond me.

    You said "bafoon".

    That made me giggle!

James, you said "and after his ban (which was justified)". Is anything after that really relevant?

It's not only long term or senior members.
I love how every other thread he posts in gets sidetracked.

Threads go where threads go sometimes.
We are all here talking audio, wherever that sometimes leads .....
As far as long term or senior members being pissed off ?
