Sold?!? Great work. Can we please crap up this FS thread now?

It's hard for me to sit idly by, especially in a Sidvicious FS thread, without making some unnecessary comments / idle chatter.

    haha

    Lets do it ---

Lets still talk about how good the Khartago is...

Haha, it really is a stout amp -- especially in Stratos form...

Dude, cracked 2000 and still a Polkologist. What's next, and when do I get there?

If I had the money, the space, AND the interest in this amp, I totally would've gotten it.

    Great snag, Solid!

    So wait . . . it's not a Khartgo . . . it's a stratos . . . I'm not sure what I am going to buy, but it sounds good.

Its a Khartago in a physical external appearance...

Crack the top and you get the Stratos.

Stratos Transformers, Cap Layout, board, wiring, xlr inputs, etc etc

Its a Khartago on steroids. Lots of power, tons of reserve current, incredibly transparent and smooth.

Also wondering how bad it will sound if i don't leave on all the time like Sid suggusts?

I have one and it's the bee's knees.
Powers my 88db's superbly. All on just 130 wpc.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

So you're telling me I bought bee's knees? I'm so damn confused. Is it a Khartgo? No. It's a Stratos in a Khartgo body. So my amp has identity issues. . . now, you're telling me I bought insect limbs. I don't understand you people.

It also doubles as a toaster.
And tends to cross-dress every other Thursday.

I have a black version of this hot-rod Khartago.
The seller is right these amps kick ****.
Like havin' a 428 cj in the little early Mustangs.
In oomph they are equal to a 200wpc+ modern mass- produced stuff.
In tonality there is no comparison. Ody is a great ss amp.

Pretty much known for having a garuntee of safe arrival --

And I always post pictures of how I plan to do it this time for insurance and for satisfaction to the buyer ---

Here are in the process --

Just an overview, under the amp is above 4" of space, with strategically placed unbreakable foam boards spacing the internal box from the bottom, and on top of that is a layer of cardboard to further add a platform -- then of course the internal box...

then I used styrofoam with reinforced cardboard inserts for the corners, then I basically filled in the sides with styrofoam to keep about 1-1.5" of space between the internal and external box on all sides...

Once I put the amp in, the internal box will be sealed, and on top of the internal box will be 4" of unbreakable foam to further protect the internal box...

On the internal box, the PC, Manual, - each will be wrapped in their own bag. The amp will be protected by a thick plastic cover. Manufactures packaging will be used...

And on all open sides - styrofoam will be placed....

All that for me? Wow I'm honored. I sold my Trio today. I always get bummed out after I sell a good piece of equipment. . . . . like I lost a child or something. I was depressed for a week after selling my Lsi15s. I need to learn how to settle down. I'm hoping this Odyssey will slow me down a bit.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Haha

Wanted to double check something -- so took some pics of the underside too to show the foam boards for support...

    Odd as it sounds ---

My motto when I sell stuff is never to see it again, unless I buy it again later... so I go the extra mile..

I would just like to say that Trey is the man. Thanks to him, I have the best amp I have ever owned. My system sounds better than ever before (and its not even warmed up yet!) Unit arrived MINT and wrapped in a FORTRESS of cardboard and squishy stuff. I highly recommend buying from Trey!

    Sweeeeet. Great amp. Great packing.

    Listen to the amp.

Try to blow up the packing with fireworks.

    Great enjoyment from both. :p

I agree, Warm, but you'd have no problem sitting naked for hours on the cover because your apartment's freezing and you have no money to spend on utilities because you've spent it all on stereo equipment.

    . . . I'm just saying
