    Are they really the size of a dinner plate?

    Not quite that large, but damn close.....There is nothing quite like finding a dead one in one of your bags after you get home....Most of the ones I came across were about the size of a small plate, and it took a couple of wacks with a shovel to finish the job....you were actually better off stabbing at it with it...Now the little clear scorpions, those little **** will kill you, no joke. Hell with the big black ones, you can see those coming. You have to look for the clear ones.
