I've had my copy for a couple days now and have yet to open it. Mostly time constraints. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.

    Guys -

I have been anticipating Halo 3 - for roughly 3 years, checking Bungie every Friday night for updates.

Friend came over, turned it on Heroic ---

    And I must admit...

This is possibly the best installment yet. Absolutely kickass.

Very tough opponents who plan attacks and everything. All large scale battles and back to what made Halo 1 so great.

I have never in my life really played a game for more than 2-3 hours in a row and still wanted to play more. (Campaign mode)

This is a huge winner to me, hopefully the rest of the campaign will be this awesome.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Played for 4 hours tonight with 2 friends in Heroic mode, lots of fun.

Custom game types FTW! Making goofy new game types to screw around with my friends is what will keep me coming back to Halo 3.

That said, if I'm being honest... when Call of Duty 4 comes out, Halo 3 is getting shelved for a while.
