Resident Evil - Extinction

Stop right now if you are here to insult me for going to see a movie based on a video game, I like the Resident Evil games.


Ok, onto the review:

Movie sucked.
Movie was boring.
Movie was stressful to watch.

Movie was beyond unrealistic compared to the others. In one seen they had atleast 200 guys pour out of a small cargo container the size of a short trailer, impossible to even fit 1/4 that.

They brought the rotten dogs back.....how original....she is more powerful than ever yet they bring the pathetic dogs back.......amazing.

I could go on, but I'd hate to spoil a bad movie.

    I kinda figured.

    I love the Resident Evil games and have been playing them since the first one came out 12+ years ago and so I saw the other 2 RE movies just for "hope's" sake and they blew pretty hard as well.

    Ill probably rent this when it comes out on DVD but I figure it will be like all the other games turned into movies and suck.

    I disagree, i saw the first preview for the new Hitman movie.......that looks so badass it's not even funny. I can't wait to see that.

    I liked the first 2. Shame this one doesn't seem to be on par. For some reason or another, most movies crash and burn after the 1st or 2nd one. Sometimes you gotta leave it alone and move on.

    You may be right about Hitman. Ive seen the trailer for it and it looks pretty good.

    However, it would be among the first.

    I totally disagree there Bagged... I just got back from seeing it, and I thought it was on par with the first two. It felt extremely short, but that's not always a bad thing.

    They developed Alice's character more, had good fight scenes, and for a RE movie, what wasn't to like? It had the improved Zombie's, lot's of gore, action, badass girl fighter... common... and the ended left you ready for the next one...

    (Ok, Ashante sucks at acting, I'll give you that... but she died rather quickly, so it's all good!)

    If you enjoyed the first two, which I did, then you will like this one.

    To each his own, but I left there extremely disappointed. I will agree with the lot's of gore, action, badass girl fighter....

    My biggest gripe was with what they "created" as the final "boss" since those were extremely easy creatures in the game and found in the early stages of the game if my memory serves me well. I mean after all, she was Nemesis so she should have had to fight something a little more badass than him.....a fight that lasted all of 25 seconds.

    I'm waiting for that one, too.

    Never played the game and I've never seen the other two flicks. Picked up Apocalypse on BR. I guess I'll be watching this series backwards.

    Movie was okay cheese. I walked in expecting a horror flick but instead got Road Warrior vs Zombies.

    Negative on the naked, quite a few shots of the puffies though.....
