Yes, I'll give you $25 a piece for each.

No need to low-ball the guy. I'll give hime $50 each if he includes shipping. Of course with only one post, he will need to ship before I send him a dime.

He got 3 silver 9t amps from me, don't know how many balls he has. :D

BTW, I used the 9t's (pretty much the same as the 7t's) with my sda's with no problem however do so at your own risk.

I went to a craigslist sellers house tonight to pick up another pair of SRS's...absolutely gorgeous pair...to complement the pair I got last week :) As I was checking out the speakers , I see these Carver Silver Seven t mono amplifiers ( Pair ) sitting there....I ask him how much he wants for them ?

He has no clue what to ask for them...but needs to get rid of them as well as a ton of other Carver products. I took the other Carver products as they were part of a package deal with the SRS's...but the silver sevens weren't part of the SRS deal...everything else was though :) ....what should I offer him for them ?

I told him I knew nothing about the Carver amps but they are very clean and work fine ( They were driving the SRS's ) ....I told him just a guess, but something like 400 to 500 for the pair ? He has the manuals for them and they are over 500 watts into 8 ohms each.....here are some pics of them...along with my new second pair of SRS's and the other Carver stuff and the rest of the electronics that came with the SRS deal.

I want to be fair to the guy and pay him a fair price for the amps ( Low of course ...but at least fair ) ....his eyes lit up when I said 400 to 500...I told him I would ask here on the forum for an honest opinion on their worth. I am going back on Saturday ( Maybe Friday ) for the amps....any input would be greatly appreciated.

NICE!!!! I'm salivating at the thought of carver 7s....

Monoblocks and SDA's are a no-no....unless you have the A1 interface.

500 for the pair is a great deal. Get 'em. If nothing else, you can make a few bucks.

    BDT

I also have the SDA's. Not too long ago I had my SST rebuilt by Roland Barr... he said that they will be fine and I don't have to strap them.

Clyde, your amps are mono blocks, which by nature means there is no common ground, which means you NEED either the original AI-1 or a Dreadnought otherwise you will damage the speakers, amps or both.

Thanks Jessie. when I sent them to Roland to be refresh, I asked him about this, and he said that they would be fine. by the way, I have been blessed. I haven't had any problems or damage for years without the Al-1 or a Dreadnought. Thanks again, it's really good to see you are still around.

I don't think Rolland really knows anything about SDA's. Carver and Sunfire, yes. SDA, no. Besides, even when using common ground amps with SDA's the sound is better when the AI-1/Dreadnought are used.

Good to see you too. B)
