According to the manual specification page they are SL2000 's . My HT will have a normal screen (46" Flat Panel). The position of the center channel will need be under the flat panel and will need to be long and low.

Bernie, if you are close you can take my 400i and try it to see if it suits you.

I've got the whole HT rig apart (again) using the 505 to front side the JCs
until another cash cow comes along for that BAT.

    read-alot,
I appreciate the offer, but I'm located in Southern NH. How did you like the 400i in your HT system?
    Thanks

It was exactly what the more knowledgeable forum members here said it would be, a good match for the SDA HT system.

There are many people posting opinions here and after reading-a-lot the ones who have been there-done that with the SDA Polk speaker will not be that hard for you to recognize.

Don't let the Johnny come lately with the high post counts fool you a few them just purchased their SDAs and became self appointed authorities over night.

Too bad we weren't discussing this last week, I just had a group of guys in Loudon that would have been more than happy to transport it for us.

    read-alot,
It's unfortunate that it didn't work out. However, I appreciated the offer.
Maybe I'll check around for a used Cs400i. Thanks for the input.

I have this same system, your 2.3 TL's have many upgrades might call Ken at Polk and have tell you what he has. you will also get a discount on the replacement tweeters they are RDO 9 something. Many of the guys on the sight have done this. most are from your area.

I have a 400i that I am using with my 2.3 tl's I am powering them with an ADCOM 5500 amp running them and don't feel a need for anymore bass.

I have thought abouts getting a set of CRS's or CRS+ for the centers because they are also of the SDA line but the 400i is a great center one of the best. Most likely the best would be the CS 1000i would be the best but are very hard to find.

Again these are most likely the best matches for your system though.

Any dissenters out there have a go at it.

    Nisqually Dave,

Thanks for your recommendations. Ideally I'd proabably like to get my hands on a 400i, but at this point I haven't been able to locate a used one. I guess I'll keep looking and hopefully come up with one.

I appreciate everyone's input on my post.

I must say this is a great forum for Polk owners.
