Hoosier has shipped them....not sure of a delivery date.

He's getting together a simple review between swilling beers and burning wood.

I got the VM20's in yesterday and plugged them up this morning:

    http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/systems/subsatsystems/VM20/

I did not pull out the stands for them because I know I won’t have them long. I’m more interested in how they sound. So instead of throwing them down in my Home theater, I put them up in my old Home theater spot and plugged them right into my old Onkyo 800 (I still need main front speakers for the system any ways to go with my older Polk CS350 center).

I've been listening to the MHD channel all day long with them (music hd) which basically plays video music (While sitting in front of my computer in the back area doing my usual defense of “cultural harmony” which some reason leads to flame wars in the club house). Most of the morning had unplugged type music with Bon Jovi, Green day and some other big hitters. Now the Country Musical awards are on (don’t like that so much).

So far so good, they look and sound great, massive improvement over the Sony speakers by far. I'll probably make more notes later on.

Silverti, looks good. Do us (Polk) a favor, and when you are done, post your review on the product page for the VM20. Al Ballard wants to get 'data' in on these products that are circulating.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Sounds good, I’m going to pull out my older Sony single disk DVD player and plug it in and grab some CD's to play music on them. Not the highest quality component but all the better stuff is tied up downstairs.

I used them while watching football most the day yesterday on Comcast hd. I have the optical cable going from my hd Comcast box to my older Onkyo 800 and run stereo. Last weekend I plugged up that Sony DVD player and listened to music. On that note, I did pick up some rti8’s on sale at Frys for my rear channels in my Home theater to replace my 12ish year old rt12’s. I'll end up moving those rt12's back up to this config when I have to ship out the VM20's. I would be nce to have a 3rd VM20 to use as a center to play around with. I didnt try but Im not so sure about how good it would be to mix those vm20's with that cs350 you see in my previous pic.

I think these units (on stands) would be perfect in this setup.

I have the address. Should I be waiting for a waybill of some kind for the shipping? I'm getting worried about trying to get these out in the XMAS rush. I spend 15 years at UPS and know this time of year I could sit in their hub for an hour trying to get them out :)

Someone should have the "Shipped To" address. Doro?

Looks like the little f&@ker skipped out of the clubhouse and screwed a member on the way.

He doesn't show up in the members list anymore.

All is well guys, no worries. We've been doing it behind the scenes and I've been slow to update the thread.

Silverti has been nothing but professional during the whole exchange and I have zero complaints. This was also thru the whole "fiasco" that went on previously, communication was an issue, so I think it's pretty telling of the individual IMO.

They are currently on their way to J.

I appreciate the concern but everything is AOK. I'll try and update things a little better next time.

Seems fairly clear to me. A certain somebody didn't want their name and addy on a package because they live in fear. So, arrangements had to be made for the shipping to take place without said info.

    I know.

Silverti shipped them to Polk HQ instead of Jwhitakr and we've been trying to track them down in the 2 tons of CES stuff that came back on the loading dock between then and now.....

I've been in contact with him and we're working on it, put in your mouthpiece and back to your corner.
