I never really read his posts. I just read some nice things he did. Maybe you should have quoted my whole post. I'll ignore the roll of the eyes. I don't want to blow my chance at the karma.

    He said "Fruitcake!"

    Shame, Shame.........

I'm new here and what I saw was some cat wanting to talk to everybody about energy savings and not audio, which the last time I checked...that's what this site was about. His thread got deleted. He brought it back. Oh well.

The electric savings thread was started on the premise that he had cut his bill in half in one month, and wanted to challenge everyone to do the same, when his next bill actually doubled wiping out his savings completely, so his claims/results/savings were unfounded, but it didn't stop him from telling others how to live their lives.

The electric savings threads were scoffed at due to his stance on blaming his lifes issues on others in previous threads he started, some of them ending in full thread deletion. He really tends to stir the pot........read on.

I want to go on the record as saying that I'm sure that those that have met/dealt with Carl on a personal level find him to be a nice/decent person and I try not to judge someone that I haven't personally met, but consistently paranoid/fringe views tend to alienate after awhile and cause a general distrust.

I hope he finds peace in his life.

    OK, I have a question.

Are these people given warnings before they are banned. Almost all the cases I've seen warranted instant banning w/o even a warning. But, in this case Candy was increasingly going off the deep end and becoming more and more confrontational and spouting his views every chance he could get.

I'm just wondering if in Candy's case if was ever warned and if so and he ignored the warnings.

New members like MOX and other like him deserve what they get when they are trolling, but Candy seemed to be a well established member who just went off the deep end. Do I understand this situation correctly?

I spoke to Carl quite a few times, he purchased one of my clamps and from what I can tell of him from those conversations he was a decent dude. He wrote me in an email after he got banned that he had no idea that it was coming and that he was trying to get a hold of a few people here. I think he was in denial of a few actions he had taken that got him banned.

I would have to say that the feedback he received from a large number of folks here was the warning.

Yeah, I am kinda surprised he kept it up.....I think there were posts in those threads that told him to back off a little....He may be a nice guy to deal with personally, but some people can't handle crowds I guess...
