All,

In the interest of brevity, I'm leaving tommorow morning for Iraq for another fun filled vacation sponsored by Uncle Sam.

I mention this because there are several of you that I would have liked to have called and so forth before I left. However, things have been on the hectic side the past few weeks with work, Wendi's surgery etc etc and I've been shamefully remiss in keeping in touch with my friends but the time just hasn't been there. Everything is fine, Wendi's fine, I'm fine...everything is squared away, I just haven't been much on calling and posting of late.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive and well and that I'll be back in touch soon and rock Polkfest for me this year.

Cheers (to borrow a term)

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
