    PS.

Also have "Perfect World" (costner/eastwood) in 5.1 to trade.

Russ and I have successfully traded Small Soldiers for Godzilla.

Rooster included a Polk Momo t-shirt, and some audio gear brochures in the package - nice touch!

Russ, your DVD is on the way, along with a burned CD with 1/12 octave mp3 files, the Rat Shack meter correction values, and my custom Excel FR spreadsheet on 3-1/2 floppy. I figured it might be a cool and quick project for you to plot the FR of your various systems.

Also, since no one seems to be interested in your Reservoir Dogs DVD, I'll trade you The Crow City Of Angels in true widescreen with DD/DTS. A true crap DVD compared to the first Crow.

If that doesn't light you up, I've got Wild Wild West, The Hurricane, or Johnny Mnemonic for offer. Gotta keep these crap DVDs in rotation.

    Regards,

    Ed

I have a "friend" that gave me 2 DVDs for a Christmas present. I already have both. There is just one problem. They both had been opened and they both are fullscreen. My guess is that he bought them, open them up then realized they weren't widesreeen and thought "what the hell, I'll just give them to shack for Christmas...He won't notice". I got him "The Guns of Navarone" and "The Wild Bunch" both of which were WIDESCREEN and UNOPENED plus they are darn good flicks. Plus he owes me a round of golf for a bet he lost. Next year he's getting a Yanni or John Tesh CD or maybe something from Eddie Rabbit if Scott hasn't bought them all off ebay.

Well...before I put these on ebay is anyone interested in swapping or purchasing "Spiderman" or "The Mummy Returns". $10 each shipped. Both are in good condition and are fullscreen.

Go ahead and take the other offer. My kids found out I was trying to trade Lost in Space and would rather I didn't.

Appreciate the offer, though. The wife woud like Sleepy hollow, and if I remember right, it's also DTS.

    Thanks.

    What's 'The Hurricane?'

Still have Res Dogs up for trade, anyone? (and no Doc, Res Gods is a GREAT, modern classic. I can't take a total crap trade, partial crap, sure, but total, no)

    Cheers,
    Russ

Here is the link to The Hurricane review. 85% fresh overall, and 100% fresh from the top/best known critics.

Rotten Tomatoes is one of the best movie review sites I use. It's tough on 56k'ers, though - lot's of graphics.

    Whoa, whoa, whoa...

Guys, hold up. I think this may be a misunderstanding. I KNOW Russ would never, knowingly, dis anyone that didn't have it coming NOR do I think that Ed would be offended if Russ turned down an offer made in good faith.

C'mon guys, let's chalk this up to a misunderstanding and let's press on here.

    MAP1911:

Is that Terminator 1 in widescreen with DD 5.1?

    If so, I have:

The Collector's Edition of The Crow - City Of Angels in true widescreen with DD/DTS.

    Wild Wild West

The Hurricane (review link listed above).

    Johnny Mnemonic

Any interest? BTW - that's a cool handle. Any relation to the famous Colt 1911?

    Dr. Spec,

Good call. I'm a big 1911 fan. Don't get to shoot as much as I would like though.

It is wide screed but NOT 5.1. Is says Mono on the back cover.

I do have the 5.1 version but its a keeper.

    MAP1911 = Mike's Auto Pistol 1911. :-)

Ah the .45 ACP - knocked down native insurgents better than the .38 S&W it replaced and the rest is history. Condition 1 all the way.

I've got the Fast and the Furious up for grabs. I don't know why I even bought it because I can't stand Vin Diesel. It's got DD and DTS 5.1.

Ha ha! Godzilla already up for trade - pure CRAPOLA. Small Soldiers was OK, Russ, the kids liked it.

Billm: yes, I there have been successful trades and sales on this thread.

I'll give you $10 plus shipping for A.N. Redux if Russ doesn't have anything you are interested in. Russ clearly has first shot at trade or buy, though.

    Up for Trade:

The Crow City Of Angels 2 disc CE
    Wild Wild West (Will Smith)
    The Hurricane (Denzel Washington)
    Johnny Mnemonic (Keanu Reeves)

Hell, I'm easy. In the past, I've sent cash wrapped in paper in the mail, and the seller mails the DVD to me after he gets paid. Priority US Mail is fine - shipping usually is in the $1.50 range. I can give you $11 or $12 - I really don't care - it's only 50 friggin' cents - your call.

It's not a lot to risk on my end, and you will get eternally flamed if you take the money and run. I firmly believe crooks don't hang around Club Polk.

Email me at home and give me your address, and I'll send the cash. I'm in no hurry. When you get paid, email me and tell me its on the way.

    Edit: This is widescreen, right?
