Yummy. My friend has a lightning, those things haul ridiculous ****. So fast....

I believe they were rated as the most dangerous vehicle to give to a teenager because of how fast they are and how light they are in the rear considering they are rwd.

    Oh, I know...

The lightnings are/were nice, but I gots a big thing for the new Saleen F-150.

Since we paid cash for for our 05 when it was new, I asked the wife if I could trade ours in on one. The WAF just wasn't there for that idea.

I figured it would be just like a regular truck payment with the trade in.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Though not 100% applicable in this case, this really does remind me of the saying:

Never argue with a stupid person. Spectators won't be able to tell the difference.

A difference does seem to exist. But I'm not sure it's the same one you want to emphasize.

    Thanks guys..

I took it to the Autobell today to get the exterior washed...

    (We are on water restriction)

But man, it needs to be WAXED. BADLY!

So tommorow I am going to wake up UBER EARLY to clay bar the truck before work...

Then when I get back from work -- put one coat of wax on it... and finish it up on Sunday...

But that thing probally hasn't been waxed in years!! Wow, sand paper like paint...

I will have to fix that ASAP!

But it looks good, I cleaned the interior tonight -- turned a shade or two darker...

I really like it though, much smoother and quieter and the AC dosnt make the truck run funky.

    Really digging it so far.

I'll race you in my Chevy to Polkfest!:D

Got a big 'ol #3 plate in the front to break the wind and lead the way baby.

BTW, resist the urge to wax while the paint is hot [engine too]. Especially with the color you've got. Otherwise, "swirl" will become a daily reminder. ;) Congrat's!

Ah, I've waxed many vehicles. Black is nothing new there.

Just finished waxing the hood -- in the DARK. I rock! ;)

Took a clay bar and 4 applications of wax... to get it to where I am comfortable with it...

Still will re-caly bar it, do the cleaner wax, then the regular, then the polish...

But the paint just has never been waxed -- EVER!

How do people do this to their vehicles???

    WTF - I mean really.

    Ah well...

Plan to wake up early and do the front and front fenders...

Then Sunday morning the doors - then rest of Sunday the entire truck..

How can you not wax your truck?

Especially with all the work you put into it?

I tried to take pictures of this truck -- after being waxed...

It literally - night and day difference.

    Thanks :)

Well I clay barred and waxed the hood 4 times.

I clay barred the front fenders and waxed them twice, and waxed the front twice as well...

Will be a slow process, but eventually all of that paint will be back to normal. Garunteed.

Doors, Top, Rear Fender Panels and back are left!

    Thanks

    I wouldnt like the deflector...

If the windows didnt have deflectors too...

But since they do - it kind of balances the whole appearance...
