I have a chance at one of these for 410 bucks, the guy has the reciept and box with extras like the wireless converter, two controllers. Is this a decent used price on these?I know they are 499 at wally world right now and with tax probably closer to the mid 500 mark.Just wondering if they go any cheaper used?

These should only be 450, unless you're talking about a special edition that comes with the wireless adapter. I don't believe the warranty on these in transferrable. Personally, I'd spend the extra $$ and get a new one, but that's me.

Same here; too many 360's dying out there...better have the full warranty.

I believe that Microsoft learned from the heat problems. They have been changing the heatsinks on replacement units so I believe they figured out on the new unit.

I think that's probably a wise choice. When I was looking for mine, I looked at several deals along the way that could have saved me a bit of money. In the end I just decided to wait longer until I could pay for one new. I'm glad now that I did.

Engtaz, MS may have fixed the heating problems, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the unit being sold is a repaired unit.

Well I'll be damned.I took the plunge again and went to gamestop and got another 360 premium package and wouldn't ya know it,the tray is stuck. So it's back to the store tomorrow,I did manage to get it to come out and played Bioshock for a minute and I must say I'm very impressed, the games are so much better than the ps3 offerings right now.I guess I'l just start treating the console like an old favorite car that breaks down all the time, keep fixin' it!I've had more probs with these consoles than most I know.
