After the remodeling of the RTi's, can we expect Polk to do the same in other lines like the LSi? Just a tought. Usually, lines are retouched after 3-4 years cycles. Somebody I know (who pretends to have connections in high places) mentioned that it will likely happen to the LSi's sooner than later, but kept secret for marketing reasons...Any thoughts on that?

Well, quite frankly, he cant keep his mouth shut on a normal day. He insist that the LSi's are due in 2008 or so. I can't really support him on that, I just simply don't know.

How bout those non-parallel, curvilinear sides that are sported on the new RTi. That, and a bit larger internal volume might take it up a notch without losing all that it does right already.

    Or, a third 5.25 driver!

I'd be happy to see more colors. Maybe ditch the gloss back and go with wood cabnets in more colors.

I want a tower bigger than the 9 but smaller than the 15. Lose the side subwoofer & have it in either all gloss black or real dark black wood, rather than the brownish black they have now.

I would LOVE something similar to this. Basically a 9 in tower form without the side firing woofer... the crossover would be slightly tweaked but it would sound great, fuller than the LSi9 but no placement/imaging problems that a side firing woofer presents.

It would also be great to have the wood go all the way up the side to the top or just nix the wood paneling and finish the whole thing in quality veneer like the RTi. but with more finish options. The 15s as they are now, I hate how the wood paneling only goes up halfway, and I do not like the side firing woofer. You have to put the 9s on stands as it is to get the most out of them, why not just go the next step and build a tower around them?

Other than that, it would be nice to see a "mini" LSi... a bit smaller than the 7s, but with the same build quality. Something that could be used as a nearfield monitor or as surrounds in HT where 7s might be overkill.

Right now, the 7s do not fit on my desk... and probably would not work well in the nearfield if they did... but most other manufacturers offer a *quality* minimonitor, it would be nice to see polk offer one too.
