RTi6 and RTi10 cherry finish

Correct me if I'm wrong but could it be possible that the cherry finish on the RTi6 is slightly darker than the one on the RTi10? Anyone else experienced this? It may be related to the fact that I got the 6's in 2005 and the 10's in 07... Or maybe I need to get my vision checked...
