Haven't heard the DAC but I know he's been working on it for a while.

I have owned two TAD-60 amplifiers.

Paul is 1st class all the way. AWESOME CS. Products had a very nice finish and performed well.

Sometimes I still miss the amps.

Great person / company to do business with - no worries.

If you get it, let us know what you think!

Rich (Scompracer) was talking at Chicagofest about a soon to be released DAC from TAD; he might know something because IIRC he was talking about demoing one.

I agree with Victor; I have two TAD-60 amps and they are great amps.

He's got a long history to create to match this company.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

He's been doing business since '86 broham. He puts the customer first. Does that remind you of anyone? Here are a few more companies with great products and excellent CS:

    Signal Cable

    Sanders Sound Systems

    Vintage Tube Services

There are a lot of companies in this industry that wouldn't piss on you (or any of their other customers) if you (they) were on fire Mark, and you know it (*cough* *J0l!dA* *cough*).

Granted, my experience in this hobbie isn't as extensive as yours is but I'm grateful for those businesses that do their best to earn our money by providing quality products (that they stand behind) along with top notch customer service.

Why you seem to prefer to put a negative spin on anything that dares to compare is beyond me. Have you forgotten that Polk was once the little guy?
