    Just a disclaimer...

I've been on the SVS band wagon and I'm still there. And I was in the same boat when I owned my SVS - I thought it was awesome for music to. That is, until I tried something else. SVS is still king for clean overall output and low frequency response...

But, there are far* more musical subwoofers out there by trade alone...

VMPS, ACI, Martin Logan, REL - list goes on.

The Larger subwoofer features two drivers that move around 12 mm one way... with a PR that moves 16mm one way...

It wont have the low response of a SVS - but with a push pull design, in a sealed enclosure... it dosnt get much better. And even then, its not that fast compared to a REL or Martin Logan. Smaller drivers, low compliance.

Its hard to get a really musical sub when its having to move... an inch or so at higher outputs... when I can get the same volume out of 3 drivers working together moving a third as much...

And my room may be small, but with room treatments - its getting better. Granted, I dont plan to live here forever. Haha -- but need 2 or 3 more room treatments and I should be good to go.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
