    I believe 12 prs = 13ga or so.
    My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

    "For those who want to bi-wire, I would suggest using the full blown 27 pair version for the low-end (10 ga.), and 9 pairs for the high-end (15 ga.)." I would figure 12 prs is about 13-14ga.

    I personally use 16pair in my PC rig and did use 24pair in my HT rig before I replaced it with Chris' Chela wire.

    I run a mix: 18 pr's cat 5 with a shielded 14 ga solid core center wire.
    There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
